HISTORY: The Florida Sunshine Entertainment Association was established in 2007 as a not-for-profit state trade association comprised of adult club and retail owners and executives. The FL SEA is NOT a legal, political or lobbying organization. The FL SEA is designed specifically to address the needs of adult businesses as they unite to uphold freedom and combat censorship. The FL SEA is a valuable resource to help protect business rights, foster communication, network and provide resources, referrals, discounts and political education.
FOCUS: Networking with the First Amendment Lawyers Association, Florida Trade Publications, Industry providers, and similar free speech coalitions to discover, monitor, and fight legislation detrimental to the adult entertainment industry. Additionally, to improve political education, communication, and interaction between Florida adult businesses in an effort to counter the agendas of our opposition and to expand our reach as a professional organization with Florida business leaders and elected officials. One of our goals is to provide media outlets with a positive venue for questions/presentations in an effort to counter the propaganda against us spread by oppositional groups.
COMMITMENT: Education and information, expedited improvement programs, unified and credible voice for the industry, create networking opportunities and cultivate resources for member benefit, and to promote the adult business industry as safe, healthy and attractive entertainment for consenting adults.
DUES: Every FL SEA Adult club or retail operation donates $333 per month. Dues cover all administrative costs and expenses for website maintenance, databases, social media updates, Florida lobbyists, legislative bill tracking and reports, meetings, office supplies, newsletters and research.

FL SEA’s main objective is to protect Americans from draconian legislation that seeks to infringe on personal freedom. FL SEA’s lobbyists and lawyers are First Amendment specialists whose goals are to protect our right to business. Since its inception, SEA affiliates have defeated over two dozen harmful proposals, introduced at local state levels.
Our success depends on your participation. We need your membership to maintain our association so it may continue to protect our rights.
